Job Title: Vice President
As a Vice President, you will work directly with our clients and lead multiple client engagements and projects, setting strategic visions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality communications solutions that meet client goals. You will also play a key role in business development, team leadership, and relationship management.
Responsibilities:
Client & Project Leadership
Manage multiple client engagements and projects, driving them from concept to execution.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Set strategic vision and tactical plans for client engagements, projects, and content delivery.
Team Oversight & Content Management
Lead client teams, ensuring collaboration and accountability.
Oversee and provide feedback on content creation, including reviewing and editing materials from Directors, Associates and Interns.
Manage Director, Associate and Intern team members, offering mentorship and input on performance.
Ensure all team deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and align with client objectives.
Media Relations
Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, including bookers, producers, and reporters.
Secure and manage media coverage across local and national print, broadcast, and digital outlets.
Strategic Planning
Facilitate the development of comprehensive, multi-faceted communications plans and project strategies.
Guide internal processes to drive toward and achieve client goals.
Business Development
Own the business development process, from brainstorming ideas to completing cross-team proposals.
Generate leads for new projects and identify opportunities for additional work with existing clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in client-facing roles within a strategic communications, PR, or marketing agency.
Strong understanding of media relations, digital communications, and reputation management.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.
Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Proficiency in project management tools and analytics platforms is a plus.
